Exam Focus

Exam season, distraction-free.

A stricter routine for revision weeks: tighter app and website blocking on the supervised Android device, while study resources and access requests stay available.

Stricter, temporarily

Tighten the rules for revision weeks and test preparation, then return to normal routines when exams end.

Apps and websites together

Block distracting apps and the same services' websites in one routine, so a browser doesn't become the loophole.

Still flexible

Access requests keep working — a genuine study need is one approval away from StudyLumen Parent.

Exam Focus, answered

How is Exam Focus different from Homework Mode?

Homework Mode protects a daily study block; Exam Focus is the stricter version for the weeks that matter most. Supervisors typically extend the schedule, shorten the allowed list, and add website rules during revision and exam periods.

Can study resources stay available?

Yes. The allowed list is per-routine, so learning apps and reference tools stay open even while everything distracting is blocked.

What happens when exams are over?

Switch back to your regular routines — like Homework Mode on school days and Weekend Balance after. Nothing needs reinstalling or re-pairing.

Does stricter blocking mean more monitoring?

No. The same privacy boundaries apply in every routine: StudyLumen does not upload messages, browsing history, or notification content. Stricter rules change what is blocked, not what is collected.
